I was privileged enough to get to review Smartballs from Good Vibrations. I have read about Kegel Exercises and have always been curious if they would work for me. Then my DO suggested them after the birth of Baby El'. I found Smartballs to be the right tool for working out those extra special muscles.
What are Kegel Exercises? They are exercises that strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, which of course upport your uterus and bladder. If you preform them regularly it is said that you can reduce your risk of incontinence later in life.
We have been using our Smartballs from Good Vibrations in conjunction with our Kegel exercises for right at three weeks now. We have definitely seen an improvement in holding our bladder which has been an increasing problematic issue with every birth. That is not the only thing we have seen great improvements in though. Yes, we also can control our muscles during intercourse. This not only helps intensive our partners experience but ours as well. We can intensive our orgasms as well as increase the length and frequency.
Smartballs are the perfect size for Kegel Exercises at 1 1/4 inch in diameter. They come in an assortment of colors. Smartballs from Good Vibrations are completely coated in high-quality elastomer making them super soft to the touch. This feature made them easier to for us to use, especially during the first few times.
I found them to be very easy to clean. Just wash with warm, soapy (we use the same as we do on our skin) water. Pat dry with a clean towel and store in a cool, dry area (ours are kept in the panty drawer of course).
Please note that Good Vibrations also mentions that Smartballs can be placed on the top rack of the dishwasher. Now that is a pretty cool feature!
